I Love This Scene...

This scene from Kill Bill: Vol. 2 always cracks me up. Larry Bishop is perfect in this scene. It is nice to see Sid Haig as well. Michael Madsen is at his best under Quentin Tarantino's watchful eye.

Bernie Mac Left Us Too Soon...

Bernie Mac has died at the age of 50. He will be missed. His performances made me laugh and smile. His routines in Spike Lee's The Original Kings Of Comedy had me on the floor. He left us too soon... way too soon.I nejoyed his work in Head Of State, Friday the Ocean's Eleven films and Bad Santa. He had a lot more in him. So much more in him. Thank you for making us laugh, Bernie Mac.

This Is What A Filmmaker Looks Like...

Francis Abbey and the Ten Sundays Productions had an incredible premiere screening of Boxing Day last night at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, Maryland. Silver Spring never had it so good. The film is a pleasure to watch on the big screen. The audience loved it!! The festival circuit will never be the same again.
It deserves to be seen by everyone.
Congratulations, Francis Abbey. You did it!!

The Dark Knight Madness

I have only seen The Dark Knight twice-- it refuses to leave my mind.
Here are links to my review of the film and an essay I wrote about what Batman means to me.
